Thurles

On Monday I did something that I swore I would never do. I spent the day in Thurles. I know - shocking. I was given the grand tour by Rachael Cooke and I was actually very impressed with Thurles. It really exceeded my expectations and I'm even planning on going back soon. There was one question I had that Rachael couldn't answer- I wanted to know if the 'Thurles' text in the logo for the shopping centre is a play on Thurles's connection with the GAA and Tipperary hurling or it it just me looking for double meanings in everything.
