Digital Expression 2010

Here I am with my Photograph at Digital Expression 2010
Digital Expression 2010 was held in Tipperary Institute on Wednesday 31st of March. The exhibition featured work from renowned photographer David Creedon from his exhibition 'Variations on the Pianoforte', including a stunning photograph of Irish musician Laura Izibor. One of the highlights from the exhibition was the Dark Light Film Festival. This was made up of several short films, each more intriguing than the last.
The creativity of the students was well showcased with a haunting black and white exhibition featuring Holycross Abbey, entitled "Saints and Scholars". The open photography competition was judged by photographer and past student Brian Lanigan. Brian commented on the high standard of photography that was submitted by students. The winners were Barry Doyle and Rebecca White. There was a strong multimedia element to the event with animation and video work from second year students also being displayed.
The exhibition will run until May 31st in the Clonmel Campus of Tipperary Institute and is certainly worth a visit.
